R.I.P Amy Tyler


We are saddened at another recent loss...
our thoughts go out to her family and friends.

Amy L. Tyler, 30, of Overland Park, Kan.,
passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at home.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 18,
at Indian Creek Community Church. In lieu of flowers,
the family suggests contributions to Caring Bridge, Cancer Action,
and KC Hospice. Amy was born on October 11, 1979, in Shawnee, Kan.
She attended Olathe North High School and graduated in 1998.
She then went on to Kansas State University and became a
member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Amy graduated with a
bachelors of science in criminal justice in 2002. After college,
Amy was very active in her MOPS group at Indian Creek
Community Church. Amy was looking forward to being an
advocate for breast cancer survivors. She was preceded in death
by her grandmother Marie Fabian and grandfather Kenneth Rice,
and aunt Diane Sheldon. She is survived by her husband Kyle Tyler
and her son Harrison of the home; parents, Ken and Sandy Ladner;
sister Ellen Ladner; grandmother Lois Rice; uncle and aunt
Bobby and Shirley Ladner, and cousins Penny Smith and Laura Ladner.

  1. I was just doing some research about breast cancer and I came across her story on YouTube. After watching, I googled her just to see how she was doing and it broke my heart to see that she's no longer with us. I pray for her family and friends and for they're strength. God Bless.

  2. I just watched Amy's video and googled her, I am so sad that she has passed away. Amy, you are still touching people. Thank you for making a video. God bless your son and family.
